Sorority Girl?

Tonight was the start of what will be an extremely long week of sorority recruitment.  I’m still not sure if it’s for me, but I’m excited for the new experience.  The only things holding me back are the price and the stereotyping.  I don’t want anyone to think differently of me just because I’m in a sorority.  I also don’t like the idea of being judged on a few moments worth of conversation and my outfit; there’s a lot more to me than that.  Whether I decide to pledge or not, one thing is for sure, I need to find a group where I fit in.  My priorities differ from my friends, who now only look forward to partying on the weekends.  My idea of fun doesn’t include being sloppy drunk and that makes finding something to do in Morgantown on the weekends a difficult task.  That’s why joining a sorority sounds so appealing to me.  Hopefully, I can pick one that wants to pick me back!

Feelings are always valid but often inaccurate.

This is my love, Christian Hockman, holding a sign that he drew for me during his bible study.  He is currently at OSUT in Fort Benning and won’t be home until Christmas.  Nothing could have made me happier than this picture did tonight <3

The Love of my Life, Ashley Snowden, recently celebrated a birthday.  Although we have only been close for a couple of years, she has made an amazing impact on my life.  She gets me :)  She is the best (and biggest) part of every summer and although she goes to a different college now, she will always be my Donna <3 I couldn’t have asked for a better friend.  I love youuu
